Regatta have achieved AEO status

We are delighted to announce that one of Langdon Systems’ major clients, Regatta, having been one of the first companies to take part in our full AEO programme in early 2015, has now successfully achieved Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status.

Regatta has been a leading name in outdoor clothing and footwear for many years and is fast becoming a major brand in Europe, exporting to over 54 countries worldwide. Their headquarters is in Trafford Park, Manchester and their warehousing covers 580,000 sq. feet, through which over 15 million units are shipped each year.

Steve Sinclair, Global Import Manager at Regatta, “We were mindful that AEO was becoming increasingly necessary to our business and knew we had to set the ball rolling sooner rather than later. We’ve had an excellent working relationship with Langdon Systems for over 20 years so were well aware of their customs expertise.

When they announced that they were to offer a training programme covering everything we’d need to do to get the AEO certification, we signed up, confident we were in good hands. The advice we received throughout the process from Dave Bradbury (Langdon’s Customs Manager) has been a huge help and contributed greatly to us achieving the AEO accreditation.”

At Langdon, we know just how much work goes into making your AEO application successful so we’re really pleased that all that hard work has paid off.

Congratulations to Steve and everyone at Regatta on their AEO achievement!
